Urgently uninstall these applications from your Android smartphone

Computer security experts have compiled another list of dangerous Android apps that should be removed from smartphones if installed. This is the well-disguised Autolycus malware, although it was discovered a long time ago: it was reported about a year ago.

However, it took Google Play about six months to remove four of the six apps with malicious code from its catalog, while the other two left the site.

It is unclear how many versions of these apps have spread to Android mobile devices, but publicly available information indicates that they are quite popular: between 1,000 and over a million downloads.

List of dangerous apps for Android:

  • Log Star Video Editor (over 1 million downloads).
  • Creative 3D Launcher (over 1 million downloads)
  • Funny Camera (over 500,000 downloads)
  • Wow Beauty Camera (over 100,000 downloads)
  • Gif Emoji Keyboard (over 100,000 downloads)
  • Razer keyboard and theme (over 50 thousand downloads)
  • Freeglow Camera 1.0.0 (over 5 thousand downloads)
  • Coco Camera v1.1 (over 1 thousand downloads)
